idiot_terror: You wouldn't know how good an update is by just complaining. Why don't look at brighter side?
Now it's easy to level up as higher rank gives more experience. You don't have to kill quest now as some of normal units give same exp like the quest you fought before.
Gargoyles, golems, vampires, dendroids, cavaliers, black knights are some units that are easy and give good exp, why don't you try it first before posting here that you don't like the update and you can't level up? Childish reason, you know?

vafunculo: very cool update, provides a challenge and a goal. I know I want to beat level 10 monsters, now I just need to find the items for combination of better gear lol
