reborndarkdemon: skyrim must be my all time favourite so far, and maybe im a bit of a elder scroll fan but oblivion and morrowind are awesome aswell :p sucks i cant play daggerfall and arena, because i dont have a pc :l cant wait for elder scrolls online though XD

elder scrolls aside, monster hunter games are great games, hard yes, but rewarding once you get the hang of it, so if you have time to kill (and maybe a psp, ps3(?) wii/wii u or 3ds to kill aswell) consider it.

and, dont get me wrong, but pokemon 4th till 6th gen are great because of its competitive side, emerald is my favourite of the pokemon franchise though.

but since you ask the best, i say skyrim.
