Then class depending they have 2 hands to fill. I think it would be great if classes had all unique weapons and gear.
Druids
Weapon: Staff/Stave
Off hand: Shield/Orbs
Armor: Light/Robs (very high dex low armor)
Give fruids a druid build. Giving them high dex/widom and low defence is typicly what a druid is. They're glass connons! Hit hurt but hurt bad when you manage to hit them.
Barb
Weapon: 2 Handed
Off hand: None
Armor: Heavy/medium
Barbs are barbaric warriors. 2 handed weapons suits them. Increased damage from these weapons to make up for the shield loss but the same time bloodlust and whirlwind already boosts their damage to obscene hights. Heavy armor with -Dex but great protection or moderate armor but no dex penalties.
Pally
Basicly as is now but make them their own sets with higher stats to make up for the poor spells.
Amazon
Weapon: Bows/Spear
Offhand: None
Armor: Medium
This class seems well ballanced already. I like it.
Assassin
Weapons: Both hands
Armor: Light
Armor that is light but not robes with wisdom. More ninja gear, high dex with relitavly low armor counts even when compared to the medium armor amazons wear. To make up for this the dex would be significantly higher and it would also add damage and endurance.
Necro
The same as druid, only they would have the choice of wearing light gear simillar to assassins only for wisdom+ damage boosts.
Now each class should not be able to equip other classes equipment! Month generic equipment that just fits everyone no more either. I mean every single piece of gear you come across would have a class!
If this leave shortages of gears for some classes then make pieces to fit.
I swear this would make a huge improvement and add a lot more depth to each character
