raditz: I've been trying to find a easy way to give players something to do. I have found ways that would give players a lot with the enchants/smithing idea but I figure its most probably too much work going round every monster creating a unique item that each drops and then a new shop/crafting area for the new resorces to be turned into enchants or new gear. Its a shame because I feel it would really improve a lot of peoples gaming here. So now I'm trying to come up with other daily tasks that give rewards only for the user and can't be transfered. This is to stop multiple accounts abusing them more than anything.
Hunt Quest
Very standard, quest giver asks you to kill X ammount of Y for example. Kill 50 wolfs.
Rewards
Build a hunters shop. In this shop place items of varying cost. So it may look like this.
L5 Gem Cost 10 Hunters Cards
Rune Lvl50 Cost 40 Hunters Cards
Rune Lvl60 Cost 70 Hunters Cards
Magic Scroll Cost 100 Hunters Cards
And so on varying prices on the rareity or cost of item.
The only way to get these cards would be to complete a hunters task on Easy/Medium/Hard/Hardcore.
Easy tasks,
The easy tasks would be completable from level 25+ and would reward only 1 Card per completed task. Would generally be only 1 type of monster you would have to kill. For example 'kill 50 gold golums' You would also only be able to complete a maximum of 4 tasks each day on any difficulty level and if you select a hard task and cannit finish it, you must wait 24 hours for it to reset befor trying a new one. Just to make players think more. There would be very little challenge in a easy task
Medium task
These are available from level 50 and will have one extra monster type to hunt down. So aswell as an increased ammount of gold golems you would also have to kill 30 Monks. For a reward of 2 hunter cards per task.
Hard
Available from level 60 and unlike other hunter tasks these now can contain upto 10 of a specific quest monster also including rank for certain mobs. A hard task may look like
Kill 30 Wyvern Monarks (Rank2+)[x]
Kill 30 Naga Vipers [x]
Kill 5 Enchanters [ ]
Kill 5 Pheonix [x]
On this example til the last enchanters are killed the quest won't be complete. For attempting a hard quest you will be rewarded 5 hunter cards per task.
Hardcore
Lvl 80+ only, and these can consist of absolutly any monster anywhere even the most difficult ones. It will also include a basic rank for each monster to be at least. Higher ranked would also pass it. A total of 8 hunter card per task for completing them.
Prizes again
Maybe add Frenzy or Energy mode to prizes. Premium/Diamond for high/lower Card costs depending on how long its been bought for. Just make it so Hunter marks are not tradable so they can only be used by the player that earned them.
