ipecac: I think if someone wants to kill 10000 pixies to improve his weapon, he is losing out on an opportunity to gain experience. It still takes a lot of time to kill 10000 pixies.

-jok3r-: I agree. Items should lose their upgraded stats when unequipped. Once equipped should regain its power. I guess its like the thor logic. "Only Thor can use his hammer" thing lol and as far as logic is concerned I guess this is an RPG fantasy game lol

and how about make it you are upgrading your weapon slot, ring slot, armour slot, etc?
its like when u upgrade your :
weapon slot (level :1)
your equipped weapon gets
+5 dam, +5 str, +5 dex etc,
for eg: when i equip mournblde, my mournblade gets the stats that was upgraded, and when i equip earth crafter, my earth crafter gets the stats.
and once the weapon is unequipped, weapons stats goes back to normal.

raditz: i know how to fix it. i suggested making the weapon user only well why not make it so the user can upgrade weapon boots chest or whatever as a skill. then if the user unequips the item the work is not lost. basicly like stats for str or dex you would put a point on weapon on helm.
