Ideas For Conflux Quests Needed!

ipecac: I haven't read all the ideas yet, and I intend to do that now, so forgive me if I steal anything. I think maybe a quest item needs to be found (maybe a trumpet) or maybe a spell learned to awaken a lord. From there the npc lord can give clues or details about the quest. I have an idea about where to get clues. Magic scrolls could be given a dual purpose of crafting at blacksmith OR opening/reading it for a clue. Most quest ideas involve finding rare items. I favor a type of quest that involves solving some sort of puzzle. Maybe finding some combination of items that need crafted or smithed together. Riddle solving might prove unfair because of language barriers, but would be something different.
*I went and read the ideas already posted. ili has a puzzle solving idea that is cool. I really liked assassinlt idea of a labyrinth to navigate. I had a similar idea to dualist idea of having to collect items to gain access to a secret area. Most of the other ideas involved either beating a boss or finding some rare item. Someone proposed finding 12 maps, what if they were some picture puzzle that you have to look at and find a common item or figure out some code. Maybe the 12 pieces would have to fit together to make a picture, which could be an answer to a riddle or question.
*Finally, what if we had to find these rare items in gem mines or ore mines? Would that be too boring?
*how about an Indiana Jones type challenge where you have to find a combination of 3 items that weigh the same amount as a sandbag or something.
*find map that denotes a sequence of arrows that you have to move in in front of the lords, kind of like a NES arrow sequence.

kevorkian: Would it be too ambitious to give all monsters a npc option? You could attack a monster, or speak to them. If this was possible, perhaps a clue could be given to seek information from, say elves, from one lord's quest. A percentage of elves could then give a correct clue or monster to question next. Different types of interaction with monsters could be possible, but would have to be limited to be feasible. Maybe you could address, threaten, torture, or beg a monster. Maybe an empty dialog box could be a last option for a code word or something. Maybe your clue from the elf or the lord is to deliver the message to the elves "karsha's blackened tooth has been restored". When you type the exact message to the elf, they give you some quest item, and maybe a clue about what to do with the item.

deathblue3: For Kult i think it should go "hello warrior it seems like you have traveled far to get here. Well since you are here can you gather me these items so I can craft a portal to my home and you will get a handsome reward." Now i think this should be a more rather difficult quest for the idea that he is trying to go home and he needs want to go home so he offers you a pretty good reward. I think you should be able to give him one item at a time to do this mission. Personally i think the items should be 5 level 5 sapphires, 5 level 4 diamonds, A venoms wand, A green dragon ring, a gold dragon ring, a bone wand, 25 full rejuvination potions (so he can charge), and a custom mob that drops a special item and this one mob should be very rare and heard to kill i personally think the item it drops are pieces and you have to craft 3 peices of this items which can be lets say for now "Guardian Crystal" or maybe to keep it simple "portal crystal" and i think that this quest reward should be the best in the game ever seen just because of how hard it is

On each elemental lord has its own level requirement..and you need to collect quest item from rare mobs that are spawning all over the map..like the evil santa gremlin that's an example.

I. Quest of Awakening
- Requires simple sacrificial offerings to awaken an Elemental Lord in player inventory for Awaken prompt to appear that use them like task items.
-Timer starts with time remaining they'll be awake.
-Fire Lord: 3 Ruby Lv5
-Earth: 3 Topaz Lv5 or Emeralds
-Water: 3 Amethyst Lv5
-Air: 3 Saphire Lv5 or Diamonds
II. Trial of Warrior Starts
- A test of strength begins like a mob fight with the one you awoke.
- If you win, you earn stat boosts and special quest unlock. Elemental lords stats go up plus 2 percent each defeat they take til 50% or 100%.
- A list of tiered quests appear to choose from that are elementally based whether you win or lose. Player stats restored after Test.
- Win Test trials, the rare quests appear. Complete rare quests, get rare rewards. 50 wins... 50 potential rewards per Lord.
-Lose Test trial, normal repetative quests appear to choose from. No big deal.
-General quest idea per Elemental Lord in Idea forum later, follows are an ex. that would appear as normal selectable quest.
