loir: Look the biggest problem is credit vs non credit players. To make the game better you need to ballance this a little. You see in most pay to win games its very possible to work hard and be almost as strong as the paid player. If both of you have equal skill level the paid player will win but if your skill is better you should be able to win also.
You want this game to be successful but how many players do you think will want to play with such a huge difference between paid and non paid? Well your average daily players tells you not too many. I know server 2 is where you make money so ive got one idea that will help this for you.
At the start of each s2 for the first 3 days of the server opening players will be able to transfer credits to server 2 from server 1. This at first may harm sales a little as players will take huge credit ammounts from s1 to s2 making the initial buy of credits not as high. However a player that has saved 1000+ credits to have a serious run at s2 will be more inclined to buy some credits if all the ones they have worked hard for have been used and they need them for this shot at winning s2.
This would mean a player could enter s2 on a level field. Maybe enter 6+ s2 rounds just to save credits for one good run at diablo. This long term should not hurt credit sales and would open the game up for all players no matter what wealth but still gives the rich player an advantage of sorts.
