boudica: ☆☆☆Please give us a break from competition rounds. Too many, too often... This only creates exhaustion. Make competition rounds special events, not regular events.
February 26th is too soon.
March 5th is too soon.
Maybe April 1st or April 15th?
Give us a chance to recover from the last round... It was a long, tough round.
I like both Martis PvP & Gaia PvP. Maybe a mix of both would be refreshing.
☆Prize Structure:
*Prizes should be limited because of players using multiple accounts in the competition rounds. The number of available prizes should be reduced to discourage that. The demand that the prize rewards be for the Top 250 is insane. There aren't 250 individual players participating in the competition rounds. That means that you want to win multiple prizes with multiple accounts...
*Fewer prizes = more competition for those prizes. (get it??? This is a COMPETITION round...)
*Example:
Top 50 Players
Top 25 Character Class
Top 25 Pets
Top 25 Quests
*No prizes for the most monsters killed because you would be rewarding pixie slayers... It's easy to kill thousands of pixies.
*No prizes for PvP because players will kill their alts hundreds of times to raise their pvp wins to raise their rankings.
☆Added Observations:
*No clan jobs
*No castles
*No Aurora
These 3 features add unnecessary boosts. Clan jobs & castles would only make clan jumpers more common than ever. It would also make who you know more important than what you know. Competition rounds are supposed to be about skills & daring...
Aurora... Why let a select few experienced players take advantage of the MEGA exp that can be gained in Aurora? Keep the competition rounds pure, so that we must do the best we can in a hardcore environment. Why add Aurora to the equation? We already have players who hog all the dragon scrolls. They don't touch the Black Dragon and/or the Royal Dragon because they can't touch them... So why make it even easier for those same players to hog all the Top prizes & dragon scrolls by allowing them to level up in Aurora while they 'compete' in a competition round? It's always the same players who take all the top prizes, over & over again... It's time that they stepped aside. Otherwise what is the incentive for the rest of the players?
*Hmmm... Let's take a look at the suggestions so far...
1. You want a 1:1 Credits transfer exchange rate from Gaia 1 to the the competition server so that you can transfer the credits that you got for FREE while hunting & selling items on the SAFE server over to the pvp server... Dreamer won't earn any money to keep ALL the servers open & operating... So why don't we just close the game down right now???
2. You want the drop rate doubled so you won't need to buy any runes, jewels, recipes & titled magic scrolls. Again, you want things to be given to you for FREE... Right?
3. You want all health boosts removed during pvp so you can try to kill other players... You can't kill supporters because they bought Health & Mana boosts with the credits that they bought to support the game... Right?
4. You want the competition round to be cheap to play? Really? The competition round is FREE... You can't understand that? You get free entrance keys if your Gaia 1 accounts are above a certain level. That is FREE... Many players, including me, give away FREE entrance keys to other players... What else needs to be cheap?
Explain to me what is the incentive for dreamer to keep this game operating for you to enjoy?
Are you a bunch of spoiled children? All you say is "Gimme, gimme, gimme!"... All you do is whine & cry that this game is unfair to non-supporters... Well DUH! Why should dreamer support your gaming habit? He's already given you a free game to play... One where you can earn FREE CREDITS on the safe server... What more do you want??? Do you want him to pay you to play his game???

returnofred14: well seeing as I'm a veteran (played 4 years) id say gaia was awesome but martis is aswell. I think martis for like 3 or 4 rounds then a gaia round once in a while to spice things up. when martis was the only thing around I missed gaia and now it has come back. love it. hope this has helped just a bit. 17-02-26 00:47
