oenamaus: You say its like talking to a wall but then that's exactly how I feel.. If there is an option to play pvp or not then new players will play full pvp because that's what they want.. If they don't want it then they won't play pvp.. Are you really that stuipid that you are going to go on and ignor this fact.. If somone wants pvp they will turn it ON if they are new or old it had no difference they choose what they prefer and go with it.. If the new player or old player chooses OFF then they won't have pvp.. Its really very simple and you are acting like a 3yo child who has spat there dummy out.. Put your dummy back in and accept the fact there is no bad reason for dreamer to make it a choice except that it means bullies can't dictate how players play

clash: For the last time 2 years ago the pvp on off button was tried it failed. If players leave more than leaves will come because of pvp. I'm done talking to brick walls. Can't you understand once a player attacks you he becomes a attacker and is open for any level to attack. He can't run once he disdurbs the piece he can't log off or enter towns. No gear loss except arenas and mayby castles. I'm done with it you guys fear change so much you make up excuses. I don't wanta lose my gold or have to use my stamina. Well I don't want to play a boring game either. Dreamer has gave into you I want everything with no risk people long enough. More powerful gear great update rite. Jewels to make you even more powerful great update. You just want to hit a quest 1 time kill it and reap reward no danger no excite. But all reward. This is my last post on the issue have fun people.

oenamaus: Here's a suggestion I could see working but it would mean dreamer having to creat more map..
First all characters will have to pick a side either good or evil.. Evil players will have there own sections of map where good players cannot enter and good players will have sections of map where the evil players cannot enter.. These areas are just exp zones and may drop the odd scroll or stam pot but will tend to be filled with mobs that do not drop legendary gear equipment so players will have to risk going into pvp territorry to collect recipy ingredients still.. Now here's the thing.. Good players can't attack other good players and evil players can't attack evil this will mean players can stay and hunt in there respective safe zones to gain xp and scroll drops but will still have to venture into pvp zones to get other valuable items..
This will also create friendships between races and also clans would have to be made of purly good or evil players aswell.. Mabey ad a credit feature to swap sides for 50 credits well if you can find a way of making keeping only one char a benefit that is because its very easy to build a new char..
Bottem line this isn't really perfect but it would help a bit.. Best option I can see is a choice for all but then the bullies want braging rights to make themselves feel tuff somwhere so give them more pvp zones I guess

oenamaus: You miss underdtand.. Ovbiously the on/off function needs a timer so players can't just manipulate it to benifit themselves.. If at any time a player decides to turn pvp on the the player would not be able to turn of the pvp for at least 24hours this will stop players just turnin pvp on when they know they can beat somone and off when they know they will be beat.. If you are correct and players will prefer pvp then it will remain turned on while they decide to roam around bd and everyone will have fun with pvp.. If you are wrong then players will have it turned off because they have no wish for any pvp.. Right now bd has pvp in arenas and I see many players bragging about how they can bully players out of arenas in chat.. Now if full pvp is enstated all over bd surly these players will have no place to run and will then surely just leave bd as they have no choice.. You all say pvp will be great but you all also agree that most players will not want pvp and turn there option off and to me that prooves that forced pvp will not work
